Coronado Playhouse Announces Auditions for its Production of:
Exit, Pursued by a Bear
By Lauren Gunderson
Directed by Kira Blaskovich
Show synopsis:
Nan Carter, frustrated and unhappy in her marriage, has decided to leave her husband, Kyle. However, just leaving isn’t enough for her – she plans to help him see the error of his ways by re-enacting their past with the help of her friends: Sweetheart (a stripper with acting aspirations) and Simon (her best friend and cheerleader.) Strapped to a chair and covered with honey, Kyle must convince Nan not to leave him to be eaten by the bears – it is a ridiculous, funny, heartfelt learning experience for everyone.
